YES! Of course! Cold water therapy is proven to help your mental and physical health (but please check with your doctor if you have health issues before entering cold water). There are events that hold cold water swims that you can enter as a competitor or just for fun!
Is it important to get pool time in during the winter season?
YES! The drop in temperature = less swim time. Therefore use the pool to your advantage! You will have more time to play with to work on your technique indoors. But don’t cancel out the Open Water completely! Overcoming mental and physical boundaries = personal growth
